Everyone was taken aback by the news that Telltale is shutting down, leaving all employees suddenly out of work and putting the new titles to great risk. We’re definitely and desperately hoping that things will look up for the company.
At NYCC 2018, Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, announced that his company, Skybound Games, will press ahead with plans to finish the game. As he said, “We cannot lose Linkoln and Clementine in the same year.” To this end, they’re thinking about working with the original creator of the game, but a formal agreement has yet to be made between the two studios. Telltale’s studio news has left us all hopeless, but we are all looking to see the end of the game.
