Streaming seems to be becoming more and more popular everywhere, so gaming couldn’t be an exception to the rule. The Microsoft giant can’t resist; they’ve recently announced that they are preparing their own online streaming games service. Their goal is to offer quality gaming services through consoles, computers, and mobile phones.
The service will employ Microsoft Azure, utilizing the existing network in over 100 countries. Considering Microsoft’s favourable position right now, the project has all the potential to take off. Users will only need an Xbox One controller, and a peripheral to connect to potential devices. According to the company’s announcement, new service trials will begin in 2019.
