Google Pixel 3 and 3XL!
Google’s brand new mobile phones, Pixel 3 and 3XL, will be revealed tomorrow during a special event in New York. After months of anticipation, several rumors and speculations running through the Internet, and “suspicious” accidents such as the famous incident of a device forgotten inside a taxi, the moment of truth is here! We all heard these rumors, but some features have already become known.
The two devices won’t have tremendous differences. They’ll feature the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC with a 4GB Ram and a capacity of 128GB, without excluding the possibility of cheaper models. The screen will be OLED, framed with Corning Gorilla Glass 5; note that the 3XL model could be up to 6.71 inches (114.3 cm 2 94.4% screen-to-body ratio).
The cameras will be no different from their precedents, with 12.2MP (back) and 8.1MP (front). A second, wide-angle lens camera may be a new addition here. Other than this, we’ll see an updated version of Google Assistant activated through Active Edge technology. As expected, it will run with the new Android 9 Pie, enriched with Gesture Navigation technology. The company will surprise us with a wide variety of colors, and the wireless charger will probably now come in Pixel as well. Besides the charger, USB-c headphones, adapters for USB-c to 3.5mm as well as USB-C to USB-A cables are said to be included.
Along with Pixel 3 and 3XL models, we will see a new generation of PixelBook 2, Google Home Hub, the new Chromecast, and the Pixel Wireless Charger.
The presentation will be held tomorrow, 9/10 in New York and will be broadcast live from the company’s Social media. Of course, you can watch it on here too, as long as you tune in on Tuesday at 18.00.
